GRADING of Paperbacks and Pulps (we provide this here as it is different than the grading of Hardcovers which is more commonly known. Pulps do grade a tad more loosely due to their age and cheap manufacturing)

FINE = Flawless; Our highest Grade. NEAR FINE = Still bright and clean; a step down from Fine with only minor defects. VERY GOOD TO FINE = A step down from Near Fine. Still clean but may have slight reading creases, marks, minor cover creases, tanning, very minor repairs (must be noted), or other minor flaws. Still square and tight. Generally, this book will still look Near Fine at first glance, but will be downgraded upon inspection. VERY GOOD PLUS = Still relatively clean. May have slight spine roll, darkening, reading creases, minor repairs (must be noted), & binding flaws. VERY GOOD = A little better than the average copy. May have some spine roll, reading creases, minor repairs (must be noted), and binding problems, but should still be collectible. VERY GOOD MINUS = May have reading creases, spine roll, overall wear and tear from being read many times. Still presentable, but no longer considered collectible. GOOD TO VERY GOOD = Essentially a decent reading copy. It has all its pages but may have several minor defects or a major defect. GOOD = Generally many major defects, but solid and readable.

SHIPPING: -- Default domestic shipping is Bookrate/ Media Mail for books and First Class for comics and magazines. Default is: $3.95 for the 1st item, $1 for each additional item in same order. Oversized books start at $4.50. Please inquire for priority and overseas rates or for clarification if you are unsure ([email protected]). If you have provided credit information, but did not specify a shipping option in response to our confirmation, we will automatically ship at default pricing as soon as possible. If your email bounces and we have no way to contact you, but you have provided credit information, we will ship at default pricing as soon as possible. Outside the US, please email for quote. HOW TO SELL TO US As we are a virtual store, there is no place to "come in" to. If you are local to the Gaithersburg, MD area, we can make an appointment to come to you. If not, we require that the items are shipped to us. This is in order to evaluate the items and to give "the best price." Unless you are known to us, we cannot purchase sight unseen material. If you are not known to us, you must contact us about the items first, to make sure that the items in question are ones that we will make an offer on and so that when they arrive at our door, they are not surprises. When they arrive, they will be immediately examined. If we want to purchase them, we will immediately make a purchase offer via e-mail. Should you refuse our offer, we will ship the items back to you. Should you accept our offer, we will immediately send you the proffered amount plus your original shipping expenses. Should we opt not to purchase them, we will let you know why and immediately ship them back to you at our expense. In general, once we have the items, if they're in decent shape, we do purchase them.
